Dr. Johannes Meyer operated on the 1 000th patient at George Surgical Centre, Mrs Marlene Orlet from George on the 5th of February 2013.
This is a remarkable milestone, seeing that this brand new day hospital has been open only for five months on the date of its 1 000th surgery.
