Garden Route Eye Clinic has consultation rooms across the Southern Cape, mainly George and Knysna. For the benefit of our patients, we also consult in Oudtshoorn, Riversdale and Plettenberg Bay.

Our 4 fully equipped George practices are situated on the same premises as George Surgical Centre (dedicated Eye Hospital) in CJ Langenhoven Street.

We also have a fully equipped Knysna practice, established in 2012 to accommodate our client base in Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and further north. It is situated opposite the Parks Board offices in Thesen Harbour Town. Plenty of parking is available.

Our consulting hours are from Monday to Friday, 08:00 until 17:00.

For after-hour emergencies, contact the practice and your call will be transferred to the doctor on duty.

We treat a very wide variety of conditions ranging from dry eyes and infections, to cataracts and retinal dysfunctions. Our ophthalmologists are skilled to diagnose even rare eye conditions and unusual visual disorders.

Garden Route Eye Clinic is equipped to perform specialist eye treatment and advanced eye surgery. We utilise only the latest methods and modern equipment to ensure that our patients receive the best possible eye treatment.

The Garden Route area is one of the top holiday destinations in South Africa. As a further service to our patients, we offer referrals to accommodation in the area, in order to combine surgery with a pleasant stay in the Garden Route.
